Hi, I am John McCrary.

I'm a 44 year old self taught portraiture photographer. I started shooting photos back in 1998 on a Sony Cybershot digital camera. I began shooting more band touring lifestyle media in 2005 during my days as a drummer in a touring rock band. In 2010, I purchased my first DSLR (Canon Rebel T2i) and started photographing local and national touring bands in small dive clubs in Los Angeles.

In 2019, I jumped over to using Nikon exclusively, and have not looked back. I currently shoot a mixture of both creative portraits, as well as fitness / crossfit photos. I have been published numerous times in various alternative modeling magazines.
